Prepare before installation
(1) the line is ready before and after the ball valve. The front and rear lines shall be coaxial and two flange sealing covers shall be parallel. The pipe shall bear the weight of the ball valve, otherwise the pipe must be supported properly.(2) clean the pipe before and after the valve and remove oil, welding slag and all other impurities from the pipe.(3) check the mark of the ball valve and find out that the ball valve is in good condition. Fully open the valve several times to confirm that the work is normal.(4) remove the protection of the flange on both ends of the ball valve.(5) inspect the valve hole to remove possible dirt and then clean the valve hole. Even small particles of foreign matter between the seat and the ball may damage the seat sealing surface.The installation(1) pipe the valve. Any end of the valve can be installed upstream. The valve can be installed in any position on the pipe. But ball valves with gearbox or pneumatic actuators should be installed on the horizontal pipe and drivenPut it above the pipe.(2) the valve flange and the pipeline flange shall be installed with the sealing gasket according to the piping design requirements.(3) the bolts on the flange shall be symmetrical, successive and evenly tightened.(4) connect the pneumatic pipe (when using pneumatic actuator).Post-installation inspection(1) operation drive and closed ball valve several times, should be flexible without delay, confirm that its work is normal.(2) seal performance inspection on the flange joint surface of the pipe and ball valve according to the piping design.
